Named after the Paleolithic era, which ended about 10,000 years ago, the Paleo diet is designed to get you to eat just like the early humans. The premise behind it is pretty basic: our diets drastically shifted while our guts haven’t over the past few thousand years.

Also, by leaving out beans, peas, grains, dairy, and restricting yourself to eating fruits, vegetables, meats, and nuts, your grocery shopping budget might shock you. There are definitely more affordable diets than Paleo out there.
The Ketogenic diet doesn’t allow any intake of processed sugars either. It also limits carbohydrate intake to the minimum. Nonetheless, dairy products maybe are allowed with a Keto diet but only to a certain limit.
Additionally, exercise is important for the success of the Paleo diet. As a matter of fact, it is one of its main pillars. For people who don’t have the time or the desire to workout, the keto diet is a better alternative.
Overall, the Ketogenic diet is vastly more popular and significantly more effective than almost all other diets out there, including the Paleo diet. People who have been on both diets may recommend Keto over Paleo because it produced greater and faster results for them.
